The calling notice for the Devon and Cornwall Archery Society AGM on Sunday 19 November 2023 at 2pm at Yelverton Memorial Hall went out to secretaries at the end of October. Along with the minutes of the AGM in 2022 and a copy of the constitution. We are very keen to hear from any members who would be interested in joining the committee in any capacity. It is important to have new ideas and succession planning to keep the committee strong and representative of all the clubs and members across our county. The role of Public Relations Officer has been vacant for a number of years (and that’s who should be creating news for this website) . While most members of the committee are willing to stand again, several of us would be happy to stand down if someone else is interested and would welcome the opportunity to support anyone who would be interested in coming onto the committee. We look forward to seeing you at the AGM, please try to make sure at least one representative comes from your club.

Also invited is Ally Miller who is the new AGB Regional Development Officer for the GWAS region. Ally is an archer who is a member of Cleve Archers, and a regular at Dunster. So most of us will recognise her from shooting alongside her or as part of the field crew at Cleve Tournaments. She has offered to come to introduce herself, and will be our guest speaker.
