Devon and Cornwall Archery Society is the county organization supporting clubs in the far South West. It provides support for Judges and Coaches as well as organizing a number of County Tournaments, hosted by local clubs.

Open to: Longbow/Horsebow/Flatbow/Traditional Wooden Recurve/Wooden Barebow
Rounds: AM – a Western round 60/50 and 30/20 for juniors ; PM – medieval themed targets at unmarked distances
Trophies will be awarded for all bow classes for the morning’s Western round. Prizes will also be awarded for the afternoon’s festivities and a Champion Archer for the day will be crowned. Medieval costume is preferred (prizes will be awarded for the best dressed lady and gent), otherwise AGB dress code must be complied with.
Entry fee: Seniors £12; Juniors £8

Assembly: 10 am (sighters at 10.15am)
Rules: Western round to be shot according to Archery GB rules.
Afternoon round rules and scoring will be issued to all competitors on the day.
Directions: Coming from the Tavistock direction on the A386, turn right at the Derriford roundabout into Looseleigh Lane and the school is on the right after the mini roundabout. From the direction of Exeter or Liskeard on A38, exit at the Manadon junction and follow the signs for Tavistock. Turn left at the Derriford roundabout into Looseleigh Lane.
Car Parking: Please park in the designated areas/parking bays.
Food: refreshments will be available during the day.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
Photography: To conform with Archery GB’s policy regarding photography, please register on the form provided by the Tournament Organiser on the day.
Liability: Notre Dame RC School and Bowmen of the Tors cannot accept responsibility for any vehicles or property brought to the venue.

Rounds In the morning: A LONGBOW TOURNAMENT
2-way Longbow National (60/50)
This will be open to Archery GB members and BLBS members. Trophies awarded to Archery GB members only, BLBS members will be awarded DCAS medals. BLBS members are not eligible to enter afternoon National Rounds.
In the afternoon: OPEN NATIONAL ROUNDS
National (60/50yds) – Open, Women, and U18 Junior Open, U21 Jr Open and Jr Women
National 50 (50/40yds) – U16 Junior Open, U18 Junior Women
National 40 (40/30yds) – U14 Junior Open, U16 Junior Women
National 30 (30/20yds) – U12 Junior Open, U14 Junior Women
There will be 4 archers per boss shooting in 2 details. Arrows will be shot in 4-minute timed ends of 6 arrows on straw bosses.
