At the last Grand Western Archery Society (GWAS) committee meeting they agreed to set aside £20,000 to provide loans of up to £500 for clubs in financial difficulty due to Covid-19.
The Society want to help clubs suffering real financial hardship as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result GWAS has set aside £20,000 of emergency funding to help clubs in need. Clubs are invited to apply for long term loans of up to £500 per club, repayable over 20 years with no interest charged or guarantors needed should your club need financial assistance.
Applications are welcome from all clubs in the GWAS region (Devon & Cornwall, Dorset & Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire).
Applications need to be made by 17 July 2020.

Applications for loans will be considered in confidence by a review panel of GWAS comprising the executive officers and a representative from each county. There is no particular limit on loans to a particular county: they will be awarded according to need.
