County Team Selection

In order to qualify for selection, you must shoot a minimum of five 12 dozen rounds appropriate to your gender. The Team will then be picked based upon the handicaps obtained for those rounds. The County Records Officer and County Coaching Organiser will be responsible for this process. Should a conflict occur, the County Vice Chairman will have the final decision.

For Current County Squad members:

The Records Officer will monitor all scores shot within Devon and Cornwall by squad members, automatically picking the 5 best score handicaps at the end of the season. It will be the Archers responsibility to forward scores shot outside our borders to the Records Officer for inclusion. These must be substantiated by a results sheet. It will not be necessary to submit your best 5 scores and handicaps at the end of the season, unless you want to be sure my records tally with yours. Please ensure you do this before the cut off date.

For Archers not in the County Squad:

If you are not a current Squad member but would like to be considered for selection, please let the Records Officer know early in the year, and they will actively monitor your scores as detailed above. Again, if you want to be sure their records tally with yours at the end of the season, submit your 5 best scores and their handicaps before the cut of date.

The last date for scores will be published each year. Anything received after this date will be ignored.
